As a Travel Counselor II, you will perform the following:
· Sabre GDS required and 2 years’ experience
· Provides consultative customer support services to our Military and Government clients via multiple channels
· Create or modify International/Domestic reservations for clients to include air, hotel, car, and rail. Minimum of 80% of transactions should be multi-segment, multi-destination international itineraries.
· Acts as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations which provide the best traveler experience in each situation
· Resolves moderately complex problems with potentially non-standard and multi destinations, ticket exchanges and complex fares
· Escalates more complex problems to more experienced staff
· Assignments include both routine and non-routine work
· Support one or more accounts.
· Interact with traveler or travel arranger and provide first level of support for customer service. Troubleshoot and document technical issues within the booking system.
· Utilize CWT preferred vendors to maximize profit and ensure compliance with the clients’ travel policy.
· Follow CWT procedures, guidelines, and standards in building Passenger Name Records, utilization of tools, productivity, accuracy of work, and attendance.
· Adhere to CWT standards in delivering customer service including telephone etiquette and follow prescribed customer service escalation procedures.
· Use available resources to stay informed of current domestic and international affairs.
· Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
